First conceived in 1982 as 'Hymns on Cassette' the natural progression to 'Hymns on CD' took place. We have now published the full library of hymn tracks in mp3 format for you to download direct to your computer for use as you wish. There are over 250 different tunes for you to use plus several incidental pieces.
It is not a permanent replacement for your accompanist, just a temporary solution for when your organist or pianist cannot be present. There is no choir, the singing is provided by yourselves! Choir practice could also be a use for our Hymp3 library.
The organ acompliments are played on a traditional pipe organ by Dr. Francis Jackson (Organist Emeritis) former organist at York Minster. The piano selection is played by Christopher Norton. Mus.Bac.(Hons) L.R.S.M. who is well known in gospel music circles for his work with Graham Kendrick, John Pantry, Shiela Walsh, Sir Cliff Richards and Billy Graham.
